A few weekends ago we took our friends from England down to the beach for a weekend of sun, sand, sea and fun. Fortunately for us we landed the best weekend in a few months - this being the coldest summer we've had since we moved here! We had a really chilled weekend with no driving - only walking to the beach and back. The children had heaps of fun too and want to go back soon!

Here's Kieren and Jesse making a new gate to replace our old one that rotted right off it's hinges! Jesse had a ball. He wants to be with Dad and be like Dad 24/7. He even only wears what Kieren wears now - it's so cute!! He has to wear his Storm pj's to bed and only wears t-shirts and denim shorts during the day. I feel it's going to be a long cold winter for the boy!
