My GirlS

I know i'm the slackest blogger around but rest assured I'm working really hard!! just not at blogging...
My big girls are now the same height (only Ellie stood on higher ground to make it look like she's still the tallest !!) I have to say Ellie has accepted the rise of her younger sister with a lot more grace than I probably would have at the same age! They get called twins a lot now when we are out in public and sometimes enjoy the charade ...othertimes not so much.

This was their traditional first day of school photo. They've settled in so well this year and are doing piano in addition to their swimming. Miss competitive (yes the older one!) wanted to continue swimming after the summer break so that she could beat me. yep. That was her sole motivation! So she's now onto learning butterfly and will probably outswim her mother sometime this year. Of course i've now started swimming training myself just to make sure she doesn't get TOO far ahead of me! I just don't know where she gets that competitive spirit from ;)

They also made the amazing decision by themselves to get baptised in February which was a beautiful occasion at Seaford Beach. Photos to follow... They sure are growing up fast.

  1. You must be so proud of your beautiful girls. What a special day their baptism must have been - I'm looking forward to seeing photos.

My youngest 3 are sometimes mistaken for triplets! Kitcat (almost 6) is almost as tall as Mousie (8) and Teddy (7) is just taller than both of them.

  2. Oh wow ~ your girls sure are growing up & are so beautiful! Their baptism must have been wonderful ~ how exciting! Look forward to the pictures!
I was an eldest who's little sisters overtook her ( well two did & two are exactly the same height). It seems to be what happens :) She'll have a growth spurt soon & that will help, well until she's overtaken again. My twins have caught up with Ellie & the other week I was asked if I had triplets :)
Well done on the swimming ~ how much fun that must be!
Hope you guys are keeping well ~ thinking of you often!
    Love to you all
